The Junior Lifeguard Program is designed for individuals with proficient swimming skills to learn about proper water safety. The program uses both a classroom atmosphere and outside activities to teach the importance of safety while around any body of water. Juniors are educated on how to prevent injury, respond safely to an emergency, and are provided an opportunity to explore their personal interests and goals in lifeguarding. There is a 4:1 junior lifeguard-to-staff ratio with 12 participants per session.
