Throughout the year, a wide variety of interesting nature, environmental,
historical, and cultural programs and activities are offered through
Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission.


Offered on a regular basis, you might want to try: 

  • taking a bird walk
  • participating in a historical and/or nature interpretive walk
  • enjoying a reptile program
  • participating in a edible and medicinal plant walk
  • viewing a slide presentation on Caw Caw Interpretive Center’s natural history, animals, and plants
  • learning about nature with your pre-schooler
