Kayak/Canoe Storage Rack Rental

The Kayak/Canoe Storage Rack at Palmetto Islands County Park is conveniently located near the park’s kayak dock on historic Horlbeck Creek. The rack contains 6 slips that are available by reservation only on an annual or semi-annual basis. Rack will also accommodate paddle boards.

Current slipholders in good standing will have priority for renewal of their slip at the end of their term. A waiting list is available when rack is reserved at capacity. The Kayak /Canoe Storage Rack is located 200 yards from the parking lot area and 100 feet from the kayak dock. Adherence to park hours and rules is required.


Dimensions
  • All six slips are 3-feet wide.
  • The bottom four slips are 21-inches high.
  • The top two slips are located 5.5 feet from ground level with no height restrictions.

Rates
  • Standard Rate: One slip rents for $400 annually or $200 per 6 months
  • Charleston County Resident Rate (CCR): One slip rents for $320 annually or
  • $160 per 6 months
