Palmetto Islands County Park Boat & Bike Rentals

Bicycling is one of the best ways to see all that Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park has to offer! Bicycles are available for rent by the hour or the day. Pedal boats can also be rented for use on the pond.

Rental Fees - Boat and bike rentals open at 10:00am.
Bicycle $4 per hour + $5 deposit $12 per day + $5 deposit
2-Person Pedal Boat $4 per 30 minutes + $5 deposit $6 per hour + $5 deposit
4-Person Pedal Boat $6 per 30 minutes + $5 deposit $8 per hour + $5 deposit

No personal kayaks are allowed on the pond, but are allowed on historic Boone Hall Creek. Boone Hall Creek can be accessed from the PICP Kayak Dock.



 Park fees and operating schedules are subject to change without notice.

Folly Pier Diamond Closed to Fishing Through December 31
Final work on the pier's pile encapsulation project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. Most of the diamond will remain open to the public, but fishing will not be allowed on that section of the pier.
