Welcome to the Charleston County Park & Recreation fishing tournaments! If fishing is your passion, then slap on some sunscreen and head to the Folly Beach Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier or the Mount Pleasant Pier throughout spring through fall to compete for prizes in a variety of categories!

Charleston Trident Fishing Tournament
The Charleston Trident Fishing Tournament, held annually from November 1-October 31, recognizes outstanding saltwater and freshwater catches made in the tri-county area. Each year, winners receive plaques acknowledging their catches.

Folly Pier Diamond Closed to Fishing Through December 31
Final work on the pier's pile encapsulation project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. Most of the diamond will remain open to the public, but fishing will not be allowed on that section of the pier.
