Through our nationally accredited professional development programs, the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission strives to serve the needs of professional outdoor leaders, volunteer scout or youth group leaders, rescue personnel, and others in related fields.
These programs offer standardized certification and/or are taught by recognized experts in their fields. Courses often exceed the recreational nature of standard skills classes and may involve long hours in demanding environments with intensive challenges or scenarios. Despite all that, safety and fun are still paramount!
