Debbie completed her 200 hour registered yoga instructor certification through Holy Cow Yoga Center teacher training program in Charleston in 2012. Since then, she has logged countless hours cultivating her own practice and honing her teaching skills leading classes on a regular basis.
She completed the Master Naturalist certification in Fall of 2013. Nature Immersion combines her two loves in an even deeper way presenting a platform for participants to experience the serenity and peace inherent in the natural world. Her goal is to make the mindfulness available from yoga and nature accessible to all.
Tess has been interested in nature and animals ever since she started catching salamanders and bugs in the creek behind her childhood home in Tennessee, and cultivated that passion while pursuing two wildlife related degrees in college and jobs in multiple states. She currently works as the Environmental Scientist for Three Oaks Engineering, completing wetland and threatened and endangered species surveys.
While she enjoys being outside alone, she gets the most joy in helping others to be better students of nature. Sharing "did-you-know" facts, interpreting different habitats, and being obviously excited about even the smallest things are some of the ways she helps others to connect to their natural surroundings.
