Cooper River County Park Trail & Boardwalk Project
Cooper River County Park Trail and Boardwalk Project
Charleston County Parks is applying for the S.C. Recreational Trails Program Grant for a trails and boardwalks project located at Cooper River County Park, 1010 Juneau Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. The S.C. Recreational Trails Program is a federal-aid assistance program designed to help states provide and maintain recreational trails for both motorized and non-motorized recreational trail use. The grant is an 80-20-match program funded by the Federal Highway Administration and administered by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism. Upon completion, this project will include trails and boardwalks throughout Cooper River County Park. We would very much appreciate your signature on a petition to encourage the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism to award this grant to Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission.
