Junior Naturalist: Animal Sleuths

Saturday, September 21, 2019

We can discover a lot about an animal without ever seeing it! Learn to recognize important skull features, follow a set of footprints through the woods, and figure out an animal's diet by what it left behind. The Junior Naturalist series for kids features hands-on science discovery, journaling, and art to encourage children to have fun while learning about the natural world. Attend six of nine programs to become a certified Junior Naturalist! Adult chaperones are welcome to attend.

Ages 8-12. Chaperone not required.

We reserve the right to use photos or videos taken of visitors while they are at Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission facilities or events for publicity purposes. Please lock your vehicle, and remove valuables from view. CCPRC is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen property. Park fees, operating schedules, and hours are subject to change without notice.
