Earth Explorers: Geology of Geodes

Geodes, or mineral-filled spherical rocks, are loved by many, but how do they form? In this program, we learn about the unique geologic conditions needed to make these sparkling treasures. Participants will also have the opportunity to crack open their own geode!
- Ages 7-12.
- One chaperone per registered child required to attend but not to required to register.
- Chaperones are not required to accompany child during program, but must stay in the park for the duration of the program.
- Non-registered children may not attend this program.
