The ACA Instructor Certification program will refine and increase the instruction skills of those wishing to become Level 3 Coastal Kayak Instructors. Certification is based upon successful demonstration of technical competency, and teaching skills.
This workshop is a combination (IDW) with the certification exam (ICE). This certification is for those teaching students coastal waters with wind, waves, and current. It emphasizes safety, efficiency, and self-reliance. Students must successfully complete a Level 3 Skills assessment prior to the course. For more information, visit the American Canoe Association.
