No matter where you live, there are likely bats nearby, which is good since we rely on bats to have healthy ecosystems. They eat insects, pollinate plants, disperse seeds, inspire innovation, and serve as prey to other animals. A single bat can eat up to its body weight in insects each night. We will search for bats that can be found in our region and learn about what we can do to help the conservation of this unique mammal.
Ages 12 and up. A registered and paid chaperone is required for participants ages 15 and under.
