What do science and art have in common? Observation and appreciation! Of course, Charleston's salt marshes are beautiful, but have you taken a closer look? Learn about what makes this ecosystem essential and practice your microscope skills to see the world from a new perspective. Use this newfound perspective to create a marsh masterpiece to take home.
Ages 8-12. One chaperone per registered child required to attend but not required to register. Chaperones are not required to accompany children but must stay in the park for the duration of the program. Non-registered children may not attend this program.
What to expect: Accessible parking, accessible restrooms, accessible water fountains, and accessible picnic tables are available at this location. The program route is a loop and benches are available along the trail route. The program speed is moderately slow to medium.
