The Pelican Watch Pavilion at Folly Beach County Park
The only public beachfront rental facility in Charleston County, the Pelican Watch Pavilion at Folly Beach County Park is a 1200-square foot, two level shelter overlooking the beautiful shoreline known as “the Edge of America.” The Pelican Watch includes restrooms, picnic tables, grill, horseshoe pit, and direct beach access.
All attendees are required to wear a face mask when interacting with staff and when social distancing from other park visitors is not achievable
All Special Event type equipment, such as Jump Castles, water slides, etc. are prohibited at this time.
All rental equipment must be picked up immediately after your event

20 x 20 Canopy Tent Setup on Pavilion lawn: $250
Pavilion Side Panels (upstairs only and includes all three open sides): $250
Due to limited parking at Folly Beach County Park, visitors are encouraged to arrive early, carpool when possible, and expect delays when entering the park. Groups using the Pelican Watch are not permitted to bypass the line and must follow all traffic laws and directions from park management.

Due to new Covid-19 rental guidelines, facility reservations can only be made by calling Park & Program Services at (843) 795-4386. Online reservations are unavailable at this time. Please note, new reduced capacity limits are currently in place for all rental facilities.
