Discover the secret social lives of plants, animals, and everything in between! Who are partners and who are rivals in different ecosystems? We will explore the surprising and sometimes sneaky ways living things work together - or against each other - in the wild. From best-bud partnerships like flowers and bees, to one-sided freeloaders, like dreaded ticks! This program will help us see that in nature, everything (and everyone) is linked - sometimes in the most unexpected ways!
Ages 7-12. One chaperone per registered child required to attend but not required to register. Chaperones are not required to accompany child during program but must stay in the park for the duration of the program. Non-registered children may not attend this program.
What to Expect
The program will begin and end under an open-air shelter. There are accessible restrooms and an accessible water fountain within a short walk of the shelter area. Accessible picnic tables are available under the shelter. The program will involve walking on both paved and unpaved surfaces.
